Armageddon — Art Deco Apocalypse Travel Poster Print
Every destination has a selling point. Armageddon’s is that you only have to make the trip once.
Rocko Graphics presents the final stop on the grand tour: the last battle, the pale horse, the armies of the faithful and the damned stretched to the burning horizon. Death rides center frame — scythe drawn, angels falling in formation overhead, a golden city gleaming in the distance for people who planned ahead. The crowd at the bottom is dressed for the occasion, which is to say, they are not dressed for this occasion at all.
Rendered in the bold flat geometry of 1930s WPA travel poster design, because some events deserve proper advance publicity. Inspired by Gustave Doré’s Death on the Pale Horse and the Book of Revelation, which was always going to end this way.
Come for the end. Stay forever.
